AN OUTLINE OF THE CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM (CBCS)
At the Under-Graduate level,the college offers two streams – Arts and Commerce. In Arts faculty, the College offers following Subjects
1.English 2.Hindi 3.Economics 4.History 5.Political Science
A candidate is to choose from the streams as per his/her qualification/eligibility on the basis of marks secured in 10+2 class.
According to the notifications/guidelines of the H.P. Government and H.P. University, the college provides education as per RUSA (Rashtriya Uchhatar Siksha Abhiyan) policy of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS).The following is a brief outline of it:
- It is an annual system
- A candidate has to choose one of the streams only.
- Courses of a subject fall into the category of DSC (core courses), AECC (Hindi / English / MIL / Sanskrit/ EVS), SEC, DSE and GE. Full form of these abbreviations is given in the table.
