Government Degree College Pajhota is a growing college that aims to change the lives of students, especially those coming from remote areas of District Sirmaur. It is located in a beautiful valley called the Freedom Fighters Valley because it is linked to many brave freedom fighters from the past. This college was established in 2017 by the former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. Since then, it has been improving step by step in every way. A well-equipped library has been set up, currently housing a collection of 917 books. The library has subscription of three Hindi Newspapers and two English Newspapers, five magazines and three Journals. The college provides holistic education that goes beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Along with studies, the college also encourages students to take part in sports, cultural events, and activities like NSS. Extra co-curricular activities are held under various clubs and societies like Eco Club, Electoral Club, Digital Club, Literary Society and History Society to develop the many faculties of students. These activities help students become more confident, skilled, and responsible.
